GroupMuse Tonight and a Great Video of Angelo Yu and Kim Kashkashian Playing Mozart
As many of you know, I have been having a wonderfully hectic week, busy in rehearsals and getting lots of performances together. I have already posted about the GroupMuse I am performing at tonight, so if you are still available, be sure to reserve your spot while you still can...they are free but limited.
Whether you can attend or not, be sure to have a listen to this gem of a performance of Mozart's Duo in G Major K. 423 for Violin and Viola by my good friend Angelo (Xiang) Yu and the ever inspirational Kim Kashkashian. This recording, done by WGBH is part of a food initiative that Kim started in Boston called Music for Food which uses the beauty and cultural implications of music to raise awareness, money, and food donations for the hungry in local cities and abroad.
